Montale Black Aoud is a woody-floral musk fragrance for men with intense notes of oudh and rose. From French perfume brand Montale, known for its twist on oriental and Arabic fragrances, this Eau de Parfum brings the cherished Oudh and Rose duo to an attractive arrangement with a few other accords.
The wood of the Aquilaria tree is of course one of the central fragrance components of Black Oud. It is a fantastic raw material with a resinous aroma. It is the most expensive wood in the world and has been used for centuries to make incense and perfumes (especially Arabic ones).
The fragrance composition of Montale Black Aoud Eau de Parfum is based on accords of rose, French labdanum, musk, Indonesian patchouli, tangerine and the generous Oudh wood from Cambodia. The overall aroma of Montale Black Aoud presents a captivating combination of the dominant pair of rose and oudh in combination with the sweet and slightly dark patchouli and other supporting nuances that provide sensual musky moments, attractive balsamic aspects and fresh citrus accents.
