Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is a powerful humectant, which means it acts like a magnet, drawing water to the skin. It can hold between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram of Hyaluronic Acid holds between one and ten litres of water).
Hyaluronic Acid also prevents the skin from losing too much moisture and is therefore essential for skin hydration.
