Its absolute essence is obtained after an extremely delicate distillation, which involves a very slow process and a particularly low yield. This makes it one of the most majestic products on a perfumer's palette.

In the heart of flower country, overlooking the Côte d'Azur, Grasse is recognised as the world capital of perfumery. It is renowned for the quality of its essences and creations. PANIER DES SENS celebrates Grasse perfumery and its traditional know-how, with a new collection based on perfume absolutes.
A veritable jewel in the crown of top-of-the-range perfumery, an absolute is the most precious oil in the plant raw material. Absolutes are highly concentrated, fragrant natural plant extracts produced by the extractive action of an organic solvent on a plant. Extraction begins with maceration of the plant to obtain what is known as a concrete. This solid concrete is then melted, dissolved in alcohol, to eliminate the insoluble waxes, while preserving the pigments and essences. The final step is to separate the alcohol from the fragrance: the result is an absolute, a dense, precious and highly concentrated liquid.
Olive oil, one of the region's emblematic raw materials, has been chosen as the key ingredient in each formula to offer an even richer range of body care products.
