Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and strengthens the skin's own defense system. It is also essential for collagen production in skin cells, helping to maintain skin structure and delay the signs of aging. 
HYALURON-FILLER + 3x EFFECT VITAMIN C BOOSTER uses 10% pure, freshly activated vitamin C. 
Pure Vitamin C deteriorates naturally when exposed to oxygen, and is most effective when freshly activated. Eucerin's innovative pack releases the freshly activated pure vitamin C powder on first use to ensure optimum potency.
Once activated, the pure vitamin C powder in Eucerin's formula (10%) combines with the serum which contains low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid (an effective moisturiser that helps fill in wrinkles in the skin layers) and Licochalcone A (another powerful antioxidant).
Vitamin C and Licochalcone A complement each other as antioxidants: they interact to provide biological cellular protection, in particular to neutralise free radicals (also called "reactive oxygen derivatives" or RODs) generated by the sun. Vitamin C provides a primary defence against free radicals: it acts instantly, neutralising free radicals outside the cells (extracellular) caused by UV radiation.
