Green top notes of blackcurrant and violet leaves enhance spicier tones of saffron and pepper, for a result that is both natural and sumptuous.
A floral bouquet of rose and geranium is delicately enhanced by an unexpected touch of cinnamon.
Notes of resinous amber, moss and Sulawesi patchouli add rich depth.
For the base note, we chose sustainably sourced patchouli from Sulawesi, Indonesia, prized for its intensity and excellent quality. The cultivation process helps to preserve the soil and improve the living standards of the farmers. I spent two years in Indonesia at the start of my career," says perfumer-creator Philippe Paparella, "and I saw how important it is to develop and support local communities."
