In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel reinvented the standards of perfumery with the creation of N°5. A radical creation that revolutionised the traditions of its time. To celebrate the occasion, CHANEL has redesigned the perfume's label, stamping it with Gabrielle Chanel's lucky number in silver.
A biodegradable paper pulp case surrounds the characteristic shape of the bottle and is closed with a wax seal, an allusion to baudruchage, the unique expertise of CHANEL's perfumes.

N°5 L'EAU, the most contemporary interpretation of N°5, radiates citrus notes like honey illuminated by the sun. Top notes of lemon, mandarin and orange are propelled skyward by aldehydes, followed by an abundance of flowers. Rose merges with airy jasmine and a new fraction of ylang-ylang that is more modern than ever. Behind this floral whirlwind, vetiver and cedar offer an innovative dynamism that is softened by notes of white musk. N°5 has never been so fresh.
