With L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme, Guerlain's perfumer took his first step towards freshness in 2004, creating a warm-cold olfactory contrast. The fresh top notes are inspired by an aniseed-flavoured, amber-coloured drink: arak. In the base notes, we find the gourmand notes of a famous pastry chef's dessert, worked around chocolate and patchouli.
