AN ODE TO FRANCE
Created by Aimé Guerlain in 1894, Eau de Cologne du Coq is both understated and alluring, fresh and aromatic, stimulating and vibrant. It is like a spring morning and can be considered a hymn to France, with its symbolic rooster.
A FRESH, INVIGORATING AND AROMATIC COMPOSITION
The Eau de Cologne du Coq embodies the delicate yet still sparkling freshness of a spring morning at the first crow of the rooster. A cologne as light as the wind god Zephyr, composed of citrus aromas like lemon, bergamot, and orange, but also featuring aromatic notes like rosemary and lavender.
SECRETS OF THE PERFUMER
Eau de Cologne represents a mandatory stylistic exercise and an initiation for Guerlain perfumers. Each generation has embraced it and composed its own interpretation. Eau de Cologne du Coq was created by Aimé Guerlain in 1894.
IN THE NAME OF BEAUTY GUERLAIN IS COMMITTED AND ACTS
Since 2007, Guerlain has been committed to preserving biodiversity, promoting sustainable innovation, climate protection, and positive social impact. Above all, we strive to protect one of nature's most precious wonders: bees.
LEGENDARY BOTTLE
In 1853, Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain was appointed the official perfumer to her Majesty the Empress Eugénie. He created Eau de Cologne Impériale for her, along with the Bee bottle, custom-made by the glassmaker Pochet du Courval and covered in 69 bees, the emblem of the Empire. This legendary bottle continues to enshrine the elegance and history of Guerlain's perfumes, revisited here in a sprayable version for the Colognes created by the five generations of perfumers.
THE EAUX DE COLOGNE FROM GUERLAIN
Eau de Cologne is defined by a classic base, in which citrus notes and aromatic accents are wonderfully showcased. This type of cologne is used by both men and women and is characterized by a fresh and light fragrance. At Guerlain, the timeless eaux de cologne have lost none of their modernity. They are subtle compositions made from a selection of ingredients characterized by lightness and naturalness. A stylistic exercise in the changing times, each with its own distinctive signature.
