From March onwards, the flowers of the almond trees of Provence are the first to announce spring. The fields of almond trees are transformed under the rays of the Mediterranean sun into a sea of delicate white flowers.
At the same time, the delicate almond is covered with a soft green velvet and has valuable cosmetic properties. The almond makes the skin soft and smooth. Almond oil, one of the most skin-friendly oils of all time, is rich in vitamins A and E. It provides the skin with deep-acting nutrients and moisture. The oil, often used for baby care, can easily be applied to very sensitive skin. It soothes the skin and reduces skin irritation by helping sensitive skin regain its natural balance and protection.
The cultivation of almonds, a fascinating but technically demanding crop, had been neglected since the last century and threatened to disappear completely. Today, thanks to the dedication and passion of some producers, the almond tree has regained its importance. Since 1984, the Schulz family has been dedicated to the production, processing and distribution of almonds from Provence on the Valensole plateau, in the heart of the Verdon regional nature park.
The kernel softens and smoothes the skin. It is rich in vitamins A and E. The oil deeply moisturizes and nourishes. It is a treat for sensitive skin and is often used for babies.
