THE CREATION
As a symbol of freedom-loving, modern femininity, Amazone was created by perfumer Maurice Maurin in 1974. This floral, green fragrance is inspired by the legendary horsewomen who, according to legend, once ruled the shores of the Black Sea.

In the floral, green scent of Amazone Eau de Toilette, the powdery notes of blackcurrant bud are spiritedly balanced with delicate rose and milky sandalwood notes.

THE OBJECT
The bottle is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear, and the black cap is reminiscent of the shape of a riding helmet. The fragrance's membership in the Parfums-Fondateurs collection is recognizable by the label on the back, which features a motif by Philippe Dumas.
