This fresh new fragrance, created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, reveals a powerful salt accord, enhanced by intense masculine notes.
Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Toilette consists of 95% natural ingredients and 100% naturally derived French alcohol and is a certified vegan perfume.
The perfume embodies an endless movement, expressed through two olfactory polarities.
Salt Polarity, representing the sea, consists of a vibrant salt accord that combines seaweed and naturally occurring oakmoss, a type of algae that migrated from the water to land. It embodies a constant flow, represents the eternal connection between sea and land, and unites the two polarities of the fragrance.
The polarity of the earth is permeated by intense wood notes, lending density and texture to the aroma. Natural sand vetiver is blended with natural recycled cedarwood, an ingredient distilled from secondary powder used in furniture making. Top notes of effervescent natural ginger enhance the freshness of the salt accord.
The interplay of salty and woody polarities gives the fragrance dynamic energy and ensures a powerful and fresh intensity.
A perfume bottle inspired by salt.
For Le Sel d'Issey, the internationally renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created a bottle with a clear, pure aesthetic that embodies the brilliance of light and the energy of salt.
The transparent bottle is made from 20% recycled glass, revealing the light gray color of the fragrance inside, reminiscent of the salt at its core. A transparent hemisphere is encapsulated at the base, conveying a powerful sense of masculinity.
The salt-inspired light gray of the outer packaging connects the perfume to the purity of its natural tone. For the first time, the box contains 10% recycled seaweed of natural origin, as well as material from FSC™-certified managed forests and other controlled sources. Its matte texture evokes the tactile surface of salt crystals.
