The duo Oud Immortel and Accord Oud is based on the scent of Oud, a special wood that has been used for centuries to make incense and perfume. Over time, it acquired great cultural significance, as evidenced by its mention in one of the world's oldest documents - the Indian Vedas. When a specific type of mold spreads on the light hardwood of the agarwood tree, the tree protects itself by saturating its bark with a dark and strong-smelling resin. This dark wood, oud or agarwood, contains a complex scent that can hardly be compared to other natural substances.
