Name: Champagne AOP
1x Flask 75cl
The history of Maison Ruinart's rosé, the very first rosé to see the light of day, has been written since the 18th century. Although more than 250 years separate us from the beginnings of Ruinart's rosé champagne, excellence, a fundamental value, continues to characterize the elaboration of this delicate wine today.
Its singularity lies in the unique balance of its blend of Chardonnay, the House's signature grape variety, and Pinot Noir vinified as a red wine. The freshness of the Chardonnay resonates with the roundness and character of the Pinot Noir.
45% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. 55% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, of which 18 to 19% is vinified in red. 20 to 25% of reserve wines from the 2 previous years.
Ruinart Rosé first presents itself to the eye, revealing a pomegranate color hemmed with orange reflections.
The nose is subtle and fresh, offering first an original palette of exotic fruits (guava, lychee), and small red fruits (raspberry, cherry, wild strawberry). Notes of rose and pomegranate complete this complex and intense aromatic profile, dominated by primary aromas that are not very evolved.
On the palate, the attack is frank, the mouth is silky and fleshy, carried by aromas of pomegranate, guava and lychee, pink grapefruit and peppermint. Ruinart Rosé deploys a complex aromatic bouquet, woven of echoes and correspondences - all notes ready to reveal their singularity during exotic meals.
