True jewel of high perfumery, the absolute is the most precious essence of the vegetable raw material. Like an elixir, the absolute is obtained by the extractive action of an organic solvent on a plant. Extraction begins with the maceration of the plant to obtain what is called a concrete. This solid concrete is then melted in alcohol to remove the insoluble waxes while preserving all the pigments and essences. A final operation allows the alcohol to be separated from the perfumed substance: we then obtain the absolute, a dense, precious, extremely concentrated liquid.
To further enrich this range of care products, an emblematic raw material of the region, olive oil is at the heart of each formula.
