Areas of the body such as our elbows, knees, hands and feet are subject to a lot of mechanical pressure and friction. The skin's protective barrier is disrupted and cannot retain enough water. The skin dries out and can become extremely dry, rough, thickened and scaly.
Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS 30% Cream 30% Urea provides extremely dry skin with the intensive care it needs. The formula contains a combination of :
30% highly concentrated urea to exfoliate
Ceramide to repair the skin barrier
Other Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF) to moisturise and bind water to the skin
Skin is intensely hydrated and looks smooth and soft.
As an intensive treatment, the product should only be applied to localized areas of concern1 rather than the entire body. Clinical and dermatological tests show that the skin is visibly smoother and more supple after one week, and continually improves with regular use.
Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS Cream 30% Urea is suitable for areas of hyperkeratotic skin (medical term for thickening) as well as for people with Keratosis Pilaris and Psoriasis. It can also be used in addition to the treatment prescribed by your dermatologist.
Eucerin UreaRepair PLUS Skin Care Cream should not be used on open wounds.

How does it work?
The NMFs in the formula bind water into the skin, repairing the skin barrier and reducing moisture loss. Urea is also a natural moisturiser and, in its high concentration (30%), acts as a keratolytic agent removing (or exfoliating) dead skin cells, reducing the thickness of the skin and leaving it smooth and soft.
