EUCERIN AQUAporin ACTIVE Moisturizing Care for Normal to Combination Skin is a refreshing facial moisturizer that enhances the skin's natural moisture system and leaves it supple, soft and radiant.

Our skin needs water to function effectively. Well-hydrated skin is soft, supple and radiant. When the skin's natural protective barrier is compromised, the skin becomes dry and dehydrated. Dehydrated skin looks dull, feels tight and is no longer able to fight external irritants. It becomes sensitive. Intense and long-lasting hydration is necessary for the skin to stay in top condition.

Most moisturisers improve skin hydration by limiting the evaporation of water from the skin and/or by binding water to the outermost layer of the skin with humectants such as glycerine. The skin also has its own hydration system: aquaporins. These are microscopic channels that transport water between the cells and contribute to the hydration of the skin from within. EUCERIN AQUAporin ACTIVE improves their natural resistance. The formula contains gluco-glycerol, an excellent moisturising ingredient, which is proven to increase the number of aquaporins in the skin. This means that in addition to limiting evaporation and retaining water on the outer layers of the skin, Eucerin AQUAporin ACTIVE supports the skin's natural moisture system.

The velvety texture of EUCERIN AQUAporin ACTIVE for normal to combination skin provides 24 hours of intense hydration. It is easily absorbed by the skin. Clinical and dermatological studies

The product has been clinically tested in in vitro and in vivo studies which confirm the effectiveness of the range and its compatibility with sensitive skin.

365 women (aged 20-45) took part in a test in September 2014 where they tried the product for a fortnight. 88 of these women tried EUCERIN AQUAporin ACTIVE for normal to combination skin. The results were evaluated by dermatologists and by the study subjects themselves.
