Clinical and dermatological studies have shown high skin tolerance and excellent efficacy on oily, acne-prone skin. A placebo-controlled study was conducted over a three-month period in 1999 on 90 men and women aged 16 to 46 years with acne vulgaris. One of the aims of the study was to prove the effectiveness of EUCERIN DermoPure Cleansing Gel.

Instructions for use
Wet your face.
Apply the gel with your fingertips and work up a lather. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
If you plan to go out in the sun, apply Eucerin SUN PROTECTION SENSITIVE PROTECT Matifying Fluid SPF 50+ after your treatment.

Better understand
Carnitine regulates sebum production by facilitating the transport of fatty acids into the mitochondria and converting them into energy. In this way, the fatty acids can no longer be converted into sebum. The amount of sebum is thus considerably reduced. A localized application of carnitine to the skin contributes to a significant reduction in the amount of sebum.
Lactic acid is a substance present in the skin known for its keratolytic and comedolytic effectiveness. A natural moisturising factor, it also regulates the pH.
