Saponification in a cauldron is the traditional method of making Marseille soaps. We therefore use this authentic method to make our liquid soaps. Our fatty base consists of 80% olive oil and 20% coconut oil, which we put into a large cauldron. Together with potash (a natural clay), this mixture will slowly transform into a soapy paste under the supervision of our Master Soapmaker.
