EUCERIN Hypersensitive Skin products offer a comprehensive approach to address each of the signs of the Hypersensitive Skin Triangle. UltraSensitive Soothing Care for Dry Skin is recommended for hypersensitive skin, whose main signs are unpleasant sensations of heating, tingling or itching, but on which there is no visible redness.
Applied to cleansed skin, it instantly calms and soothes dry, hypersensitive skin on the face, neck and décolleté for a long-lasting feeling of comfort, while the special waxes in the formula nourish and hydrate the skin.
As hypersensitive skin is characterised by a defective skin barrier, the sensory fibres react faster and much stronger to stress factors: unpleasant feelings of skin discomfort and redness occur.
This rich, soothing skin care formula contains SymSitive*, an innovative active ingredient specially developed for hypersensitive skin. It reduces skin hyper-reactivity by minimising the activation of sensory fibres, thus instantly soothing hypersensitivity.
EUCERIN UltraSensitive Soothing Care for Dry Skin not only soothes hypersensitive and dry skin instantly, but over time it helps to protect the skin barrier and thus increase the skin's tolerance threshold.
As with all EUCERIN Hypersensitive Skin products, EUCERIN UltraSensitive Soothing Care for Dry Skin uses anti-contamination sterile packaging. It also contains a limited number of ingredients for greater purity and less risk of skin reactivity.

Sterile anti-contamination packaging
All EUCERIN Hypersensitive Skin products use sterile anti-contamination packaging to protect the formulas from impurities and oxidation.
This packaging acts on 3 risk areas: the valves, the connections between components and the dispensing outlet.
The valves have sterilisation filters; the connections are ultra-welded to promote sealing; and the dispensing outlet has an ultra-tight seal.

Clinical and dermatological studies
Clinical and dermatological studies prove high skin tolerance and excellent efficacy on hypersensitive skin.
The effectiveness of EUCERIN UltraSensitive Soothing Care for Dry Skin was evaluated in clinical studies* with 53 women (19-60 years) with sensitive to very sensitive skin. The product was applied twice a day for 4 weeks, half face down on the face.

How to use it?
Because hypersensitive skin has a weakened skin barrier, it will allow potentially irritating agents to pass through more easily and the hyper-reactive sensory fibres of the epidermis will react to these agents. The purity of our formulas and their anti-contamination packaging help to minimise skin intolerance.
When skin is hypersensitive, the sensory fibres of the epidermis react faster and stronger than on normal skin, causing sensations of irritation and discomfort.
