The woody, maritime fragrance for men
This new, refreshing men's fragrance created by star perfumer Quentin Bisch is based on a long-lasting, powerful salt accord that is complemented by intense, masculine notes. Le Sel d'Issey Eau de Toilette consists of 95% ingredients of natural origin, 100% natural French alcohol and is certified vegan.
The fragrance embodies the infinite movement between the two poles, the sea and the land. The powerful salt accord, which represents the sea, blends with seaweed and oakmoss of natural origin. Oakmoss is a type of algae that has shifted its habitat from water to land in the course of evolution and thus symbolizes the eternal connection between sea and land in this unique fragrance. The earthy pole, the land, contains intense, woody notes that give the fragrance density and texture. Natural sand vetiver combines with notes of natural, recycled cedar wood, upcycled from wood shavings from the furniture industry. The top note of natural ginger intensifies the freshness of the salt accord.

A bottle inspired by salt
For Le Sel d'Issey, the internationally renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created a bottle with a pure and clear aesthetic that embodies the brightness of light and the energy of salt.
The bottle, which is made of 20% recycled glass, is transparent and reveals the delicate coloring of the fragrance, which is reminiscent of salt, the heart of this fragrance. A transparent hemisphere is encapsulated in the base of the bottle, conveying powerful masculinity.
The light grey of the outer packaging is also inspired by the natural, light coloring of salt. In addition to using materials from FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources, the outer packaging also contains 10% upcycled seaweed of natural origin for the first time. The matt, slightly rough texture of the cardboard is reminiscent of the feel of crystallized salt.
