THE CREATION
Eau d'Hermès is the first fragrance from the House of Hermès. Created in 1951 by perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, it evokes the interior of a Hermès bag where the aroma of a perfume floats.

A citrusy and spicy fragrance, Eau d'Hermès is an eau de toilette where the brightness of lemon petitgrain and the dazzling energy of cardamom combine with the warmth of cinnamon.
THE OBJECT
Inspired by the lanterns of cars of yesteryear, the bottle is topped with a black cap echoing the cavaliers' bomb. As a sign of belonging to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.
