Eucerin SUN PROTECTION OIL CONTROL Cream-Gel SPF 50+ is a daily sun protection product with a very high sun protection factor, specifically formulated for oily or acne-prone skin. It combines advanced photoprotection against sun damage with an active solution that improves skin condition.
Firstly, its highly effective and photostable UVA/UVB filter system, which complies with European Union recommendations, ensures reliable protection.
Secondly, the combination of Licochalcone A and Glycyrrhetinic Acid ensures support of the cellular protection mechanisms.
Licochalcone A is a powerful natural antioxidant that acts on free radicals generated by UV and high energy visible light. Glycyrrhetinic Acid, with its antioxidant properties, helps strengthen the skin's natural DNA protection and repair mechanisms.
Finally, its Oil Control Technology has been specifically developed to meet the specific needs of oily or acne-prone skin. Its formula, composed of sebum-regulating L-Carnitine and a combination of three mattifying pigments, immediately produces a long-lasting, dry matte finish on the skin, even in hot and humid climates.

Clinical and dermatological studies
Clinical studies have shown that Eucerin SUN PROTECTION OIL CONTROL Cream-Gel SPF 50+ is very well tolerated by the skin, even in patients with sensitive, oily or acne-prone skin.
The efficacy of the formula with sebum-regulating L-carnitine and mattifying pigments was verified in additional use tests.
Key findings
The studies, which involved 325 subjects with combination, oily or acne-prone skin, showed excellent results (2). The subjects noted :
an ultra-light texture (95%) ;
a long-lasting dry matte finish (94%);
no shine a few hours after application (93%);
immediate absorption (98%).
Women with oily to combination skin confirmed the following after four weeks of product application (3):
less oily skin (90%) ;
