GERANIUM ROSAT
Introduced in Europe in the 17th century, geranium was first used for medicinal purposes. It is quickly used in perfumery for the olfactory properties of its leaves and stems. It has a particularly fine rosé fragrance, both sweet and powerful. It is distinguished from rose by its light green and lemony notes that give it strength and character.
PANIER DES SENS has selected Pelargonium Graveolens, also known as Geranium Rosat, to embody the first fragrance in this iconic collection.

A land of flowers overlooking the Côte d'Azur, Grasse is known as the world capital of perfumery for the quality of its essences and creations. PANIER DES SENS honours Grasse perfumery and its ancestral know-how with its new range of fragrance absolute skincare products.
A true jewel of fine perfumery, absolute is the most precious essence of the vegetable raw material. Like an elixir, the absolute is obtained by the extractive action of an organic solvent on a plant. Extraction begins with maceration of the plant to obtain what is called a concrete. This solid concrete is then melted in alcohol to remove insoluble waxes while preserving all pigments and essences. A last operation separates the alcohol from the scented substance: we then obtain the absolute, a dense, precious, extremely concentrated liquid.
To further enrich this range of treatments, an emblematic raw material of the region, olive oil is at the heart of each formula.
