After application, avoid rubbing or dabbing the skin. This will break down the scent and cause it to fade more quickly. If you prefer to apply your perfume to your wrists, be sure to reapply after washing your hands frequently, as this can wash out the scent. Replace perfume after 12 months. Expired perfumes that are more than a year old will lose the integrity of the original scent.
