An unexpected encounter between Habit Rouge Perfume and two oak barrels, each endowed with different olfactory properties, linked to the age of their respective woods. Over time, the synergy of the wood and the formula's ingredients gives rise to new olfactory facets. Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfume Creative Director & Perfumer, celebrates the House's pioneering spirit by inaugurating a unique process at Guerlain for blending perfumes enhanced in oak barrels and infused with their characteristic woody notes.
Driven by audacity, Habit Rouge Spirit expresses the vision of a luxury that has become rare: time. Through prolonged contact with the wood, this new variation develops its characteristic notes. A meticulous blending process follows to find the ideal balance between the fragrances from the two barrels, thus giving birth to a unique composition, which offers a new signature to Guerlain's iconic Habit Rouge.
