Paco Rabanne Olympéa Perfume is the equivalent of the 2013 Invictus men's edition, inspired by athleticism, competition and victory. The concept is based on the idea of a modern Greek goddess and invokes strength, dynamism and conquests.
The unprecedented balance of its chords makes Olympéa a very characteristic feminine perfume from the house of Paco Rabanne.
Bottle: The Olympéa bottle was created by Marc Ange, a designer from Rome. Each of his creations is guided by the wilful confusion between the real and the imaginary, paradox in its purest state.
Olympéa presents this same bipolarity in its daring combination of ancient codes with ultra-contemporary aesthetics. This time, the design is not directly inspired by the distortion of an object, but has strong symbolism. A perfect circle, similar to sacred talismans and divine attributes, set in a spiralling, copper-coloured metal crown. Horizontally, this ring evokes the laurels of victory. Vertically, this signature brings to mind the wings of Greek statues, such as Nice - who, in Greek mythology, was a goddess who personified Victory - of all conquests. Classical and Art Deco references come together with balance and boldness. Like a jewel, the cap is removed to reveal the fragrance, emphasising the preciousness of the bottle.
Displaying the wings of victory, the box showcases Olympéa's personality: the feminine expression of triumph, reflected in the shades of golden and pale pink, as well as pure white.
