Fragrance composition
The owner of the Byredo brand Ben Gorham wanted to capture the delicacy and rich color of tulips in the La Tulipe fragrance. Together with the well-known perfumer Jerome Epinette, he created the central tulip accord, around which green notes of rhubarb, fresh freesia and cyclamen entwine. The base notes are based on dry wood and vetiver, which give the fragrance depth and longevity. Nevertheless, he makes a light impression.
